This hat is an original and unique pattern! A diamond stitch slouch style hat with ear flaps to keep those cheeks and ears warm!

Braided ties add some more charm to this winter hat. Crocheted in wool or other worsted weight yarn, it is extremely soft, light, and warm!

This crochet hat pattern is written in adult size, but can be made to fit any size. The pattern includes instructions on how to easily alter the size of the finished hat.

SIZE:
20.5″ circumference (plus some stretch), 11″ tall or custom.

SKILL LEVEL:
Intermediate – you need some crochet experience.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
You’ll need H and J crochet hooks and your favorite worsted weight yarn.
I used Laramie merino wool from Mountain Meadow Wool.  It is very soft and light, and super warm!
