I created this shawl crochet pattern while on a trip to Jamaica. It’s always nice and warm there, so an open, airy shawl is perfect for pairing with a lovely dress for a fun night out on the town. The One Love Shawl is a one skein project and can be worn as a scarf as well.

One Love – comes from a Bob Marley song – a Jamaican icon.

This shawl is just right for dressing up a casual outfit on a not-so-warm morning. Crocheted with a mix of fan and shell stitch patterns, the shawl is fun to crochet and beautiful to wear wrapped around your shoulders!  Worn as a shawl or as a scarf, it adds a touch of elegance to any outfit and is dressy enough to wear out for the evening as well.

Super soft and light weight when crocheted with Natural Fiber Producers Suri Silk Fingering weight yarn.

The One Love Shawl is a gorgeous shawl crochet pattern written at an intermediate skill level. This shawl is crocheted in a reversible vintage fan and shell stitch pattern resulting in a true work of art.

SIZE:
12″ X 54″ blocked. Pattern gives instructions on adjusting the size of the shawl.

This pattern is written in American Crochet terms.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
You’ll need a D crochet hook (US 5/3.00mm) and one skein of your favorite fingering weight yarn. I used one skein of Natural Fiber Producer’s Suri Silk in Aurora Red for the sample shawl.
